The Yakima bars are slightly different to most other roof bars because the rubber strip remains in place when fitting products to them using T-track adapters, this makes them particularly aerodynamic. We recommend using some warm water and washing up liquid to help lubricate the channel and also tilting the t-track adapter back whilst pushing forward to avoid it digging in to the rubber.
