Thule have made three different versions of the Freeride bike carrier; the 575, 530 and 532. The FreeRide 532 is the current model.
FreeRide 530 and 532
The FreeRide 532 would have come with fittings that work with T-track aluminium bars. You need to use the three T-headed bolts, these bolts slide into the channel that runs the length of the roof bar, on some bars you have to remove the rubber strip first. These fittings were optional for the FreeRide 530.
Spare T-track fittings are available for the FreeRide 530 and 532 if you no longer have the parts that came with the bike carrier, these work with all the aluminium bars we sell - click here for details.
Alternative fittings are available if you have BMW branded bars, which have a wider channel - click here for details.
FreeRide 575
Unfortunately Thule no longer product T-track fittings for the older FreeRide 575. Adapters were available (part no. 872) but we can't get hold of these anymore. The T-track fittings for the 530 and 532 will not work with the FreeRide 575.
