If you are looking to transport bikes on this system, you'll need to go for a bike carrier that either comes with or has T-track adapters available for it, as these will slot into the channel that run the length of bar and not interfere with the slide mechanism.
All of the Thule and Atera bike carriers currently on sale on our website are supplied with T-track adapters and are therefore compatible with the DropRacks system. The Yakima HighRoad and HighSpeed bike carriers will also fit with the additional SmarT-Slot kit 1 adapter set.
You'll need to use a Droprack where the cross bars are positioned suitably far apart to fit a bike carrier. Some Dropracks have cross bars that are fitted too far apart to use a bike carrier, this is usually where they fit to fixing points on a van roof. We will mention this when you select your vehicle to find out more about the Droprack application.

YAKIMA bike carriers do not come with t-track adapters as standard. You will need to purchase the optional t-track adapters to fit these racks to dropracks. Please see the details below.
Inno roof mounting bike carriers are supplied with fittings that wrap around roof bars, these fittings don’t work with Dropracks.

We only test bike carriers from the brands that we supply, so unfortunately we cannot confirm whether other branded bike carriers would be suitable.
Which Yakima bike racks are compatible with DropRacks?
Is my existing bike carrier compatible with Dropracks?
If your Atera, Thule or Yakima bike rack has t-track adapters then it is suitable.
If your bike carrier doesn't have t-track adapters, or non are available for your bike carrier then it will not fit the DropRacks system.

Yes. Check the spare parts tab and the accessories section of the product page. If you don't find any t-track adapters listed then please get in touch and we will confirm if there is anything available for your bike carrier.
